Phase one · Haiti

Three things
a street needs.

Every project is chosen the same way: it must solve something urgent now, and still be working ten years from now.

Renewable street lighting

Community park & playground

Solar-powered lights where the grid does not reach.

  • Wind-powered lighting where it suits the site
  • Safer streets after dark
  • No new dependence on fuel or the grid
Road improvement

Road repair — market route

Repairing damaged roads in underserved communities.

  • Access to schools, hospitals, and farms
  • Lower cost to move goods to market
  • Local economic development through transport
Parks & community spaces

Solar street lighting, phase 1

Modern public parks for families and children.

  • Playgrounds, benches, and green space
  • Recreational facilities
  • Safe gathering spaces that pull neighbors together

How we work

Communities help choose, shape, and maintain each project. Local crews are hired first. Materials are sourced in Haiti wherever they can be. Every stage is reported back to donors and to the neighborhood it serves.
